A few days ago, it was revealed that those who pre-order the upcoming video game Alien: Isolation would receive special pre-order bonus missions involving the likenesses and voices of most of the cast of the 1979 classic movie that heavily inspired the game, Ridley Scott’s Alien, including Sigourney Weaver as Ripley.
While the thought of playing a very promising looking game as these iconic characters is extremely exciting, the general consensus on the announcement has been—and is almost every time similarly awesome exclusive pre-order bonuses are announced—that it’s not cool to force people to pay for the game in advance just to gain access to content.
But, as is usually the case, it was assumed that the two Alien bonus missions would still be made available to everyone at some point, and this has been confirmed in a statement released by SEGA.
