Ultron Avengers Age of Ultron header

The past few weeks have seen the release of the Avengers: Age of Ultron character posters and a spiffy new trailer. We’ve seen the return of our heroes like Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Nick Fury, Hawkeye, and Captain America. The posters for Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver, the film’s humans endowed with special powers, have also been released. But for those waiting for character poster for Ultron, the film’s titular villain, wait no more, because his poster has finally arrived.

Hit the jump to check out the character poster for Ultron, as well as all the other posters that have been released.

Assuming that we are going to get the posters for all the vital characters of Avengers: Age of Ultron, all that we have left is The Vision. The character has been noticeably absent throughout the entire marketing campaign, only making a few appearances on other promotional material and a quick glimpse during the closing seconds of the last trailer. Now if we are to get his character poster, it only makes sense that the entire campaign end with the release of his poster.

The new poster debuted on Marvel.com.

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, Stellan Skarsgård, with James Spader and Samuel L. Jackson, Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters on May 1, 2015.

Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron” stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk and Chris Evans as Captain America. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine, Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, Stellan SkarsgÃ¥rd as Erik Selvig and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision.
