Holy crap! Everything is out in the open. At PaleyFest in LA this weekend, the Arrow panel audience was treated to a most revealing sizzle reel trailer which included not one, but two characters who did not previously know that Oliver Queen was the Arrow – Ray Palmer aka The Atom (Brandon Routh) and Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), dad of both Canaries (Caity Lotz and Katie Cassidy). And they are pissed!
That trailer and the promo for this Wednesday’s “The Offer” are here below.
There’s even more reveals in this trailer, which shows Brandon Routh blasting into the air in his Atom costume. Can Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) stop him from going after Oliver (Stephen Amell)? What looks to be a teaser in concept, but is directly spoken by Deadshot (Michael Rowe), “The Suicide Squad rides again.” And….Shadow? Seemingly after her time of death?
The non-reveals include what Oliver was offered (hence the name) when presented in front of Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable). He wants him to take over as the next Ra’s and Oliver is seriously considering it, questioning all he has and hasn’t done.
That pisses me off. Do these people not remember how much he has done for the city and saved them? Do they really think if Oliver never came home, that nothing would have happened? Apparently and foolishly so.
He really feels like he has “failed his city.”
Arrow returns to The CW with Episode 3.16 “The Offer” on Wednesday, March 18th at 8pm.
Will Oliver take Ra’s al Ghul up on his offer? Check out all the action from upcoming episodes of Arrow in this killer trailer that was shown for the first time at the show’s 2015 Paleyfest session on March 14, 2015.
