Air date: Sunday, April 26, 2015, 9pm Spoilers ahead for Season 5 of Game Of Thrones… Last week’s Game Of Thrones, Episode 5.2 “The House Of Black and White”, saw Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) arrive to the House Of Black and White in Braavos in hopes of starting her training to become one of the Faceless Men, while her older sister Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) was traveling with Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen), but to where she did not know – only that it would be far away from Cersei’s clutches. That also meant away from Brienne of Tarth and her squire Podrick, who’ve come to protect her. Meanwhile, back in Kings Landing, Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) promised his sister and one true love Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) that he’d rescue their daughter Myrcella, who is living in Dorne, betrothed to Prince Trystane, nephew to the late Oberyn Martell’s – The Red Viper, who met a horrible end at the hand of The Mountain in Season 4. Over at The Wall, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was voted Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, while Stannis Baratheon (operating as King of Westeros, with his own followers) offered him the thing he’s wanted most — to be legitimized as Ned Stark’s son and become Jon Stark. In Pentos, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) and the eunuch Varys (Conleth Hill) planned to join forces with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), who is residing in Meereen where she’s under attack from the Sons of the Harpy who oppose her rule.

The Last Man On Earth
Season 1 Episode 12: “The Tandyman Can”
Created by Will Forte, Phil Lord, and Christopher Miller
Starring Will Forte, January Jones, Kristen Schaal, Mel Rodriguez, Cleopatra Coleman, Mary Steenburgen, Boris Kodjoe
FOX
Air Date: Sunday, April 26th, 2015, 9:30pm Let’s do a brief recap of last week’s episode before we get to The Last Man On Earth 1.12 “The Tandyman Can” review. And then there were seven. A new man enters the mix, despite Phil’s (Will Forte) efforts to prevent this. Double-booked dates with both Erica and Gail, he runs to his “Alive In Tucson” billboard to spray “Moved To Tampa” over it. His ladder falls and he is stranded there, burnt by the Arizona sun. Carol (Kristen Schaal) is about to organize a search party, when Phil Miller shows up. Not Will Forte’s Phil Miller, but Boris Kodjoe‘s Phil Miller (also his name), who walks over carrying their Phil. Hubba hubba! Since there is this incredible coincidence of two exact same names, the suggestion is for the Phils to go by their middle names. The first Phil’s middle name is Tandy. The second Phil has no middle name. So now there is incredibly handsome Phil… and Tandy.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Season 2 Episode 20: “AC/DC”
Directed by Linda Mendoza
Written by Kylie Condon
Created by Daniel J Goor and Michael Schur
Starring Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti, Dirk Blocker, Joel McKinnon Miller, Terry Crews
FOX
Air Date: Sunday, April 26th, 2015, 8:30pm Brooklyn Nine-Nine returns after a one-month hiatus to give us four more belly laugh episodes, before its in-between seasons vacation. Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) and Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz) were the laugh stars of this episode. The second clip below highlights that. They could not avoid the inevitable double date dinner with their significant others, given that Rosa is dating Holt’s nephew (Nick Cannon) and the Captain’s husband Kevin (Kevin Cozner), is a pleasant normal person. I could swear Rosa and Holt are related by their socially awkward and humorless mannerisms. Holt (after Rosa leaves the table because of unbearable small talk): “Whew. Good. Take a breather. No one needs to know you have sisters.” Good one, Captain Holt. Deadpan humor is the best.

The CW
Air Date: Friday, April 24th, 2015, 9:00pm The Messengers “awakened” last week, and this pilot about angels who have to save mankind from the impending apocalypse started pretty intriguing – emphasis on pretty. Before the review of this week’s episode, let’s give a little pilot recap. A meteor-like something crashes into Earth and the shockwave kills five people, who then come back to life with angel wings you can only see in a mirror. Peter (Joel Courtney), comes back and stands up to his bully, not realizing his new strength and kills him. Erin (Sofia Black-D’Elia), heals her daughter’s wounds, then steals her out of the hospital, away from her violent father. Vera (Shantel VanSanten) meets the devil (Diogo Morgado), who promises to bring her to her stolen son if she does a favor for him. Raul (JD Pardo) carjacks Erin, but her daughter is soft on him. And Joshua (Jon Fletcher), goes from being a run-of-the-mill televangelist, to one who knows the hellfire and damnation truth. Oh, and gross to his dad getting Joshua’s wife pregnant.

They get captured AGAIN, but Hero (Tom York) is able to retrieve the ring, needed in conjunction with the Lexicon (which is inside Hero). He asks his mother Medea (Sonita Henry) for poison and she panics thinking he knows she’s been poisoning his dad. Plus, the two conspirators plan to kill her in plain sight. She can’t manage to wake up Aegeus. Luckily, he wakes up in the nick of time and acts like a giant jerk to her and Lykos, but at least she’s alive.
