Mad Max Video Game

Fortunately for those excited to see what a current-generation Mad Max video game will look like don’t have to wait nearly as long as fans of the movie series have waited for Mad Max: Fury Road to arrive in theaters (which is next month, by the way).

A gameplay overview trailer for the game has been released online, and it offers a great look at what potential players can expect. It doesn’t look like they tried to reinvent the wheel or anything—a little bit of Tomb Raider or Uncharted, some Batman: Arkham combat, and of course a dash of developer Avalanche Studios’ other game series, Just Cause, all set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and we’re good to go.

You can read more about the game and check out the first gameplay preview below.

Lip Sync Battle Mike Tyson

It’s time to talk about our guilty pleasure, Lip Sync Battle! Who am I kidding? There’s no guilt here! Episode 5 of Lip Sync Battle pits Mike Tyson Vs. Terry Crews.

The way to play: Celebrities participate in two rounds of lip syncing to their chosen songs. The first round can be vanilla. The second round demands some stage production. The winner is declared based on audience cheering volume. LL Cool J is the host and moderator while Chrissy Teigen provides color commentary, mixes drinks, dances, lip syncs in the background, and fake DJs.

This was the “most anticipated heavyweight” lip sync showdown!

Tyson’s songs are “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction” by The Rolling Stones, and “Push It” by Salt-N-Pepa.

Crews songs are “Sucker MC’s by Run DMC, and “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton.

So… who does the audience pick as the winner?

Scroll down to the end of the videos to find out!

Telltale Games Marvel Announcement

Popular episodic point-and-click adventure video game developer and publisher Telltale Games is adding another big time geek property to its lineup.

The game maker has announced that they have joined forces with none other than Marvel Entertainment for a brand new game series that’s expected to arrive sometime in the year 2017. Unfortunately, because it’s still so early and we still have so long to wait, no other details are known about what Marvel characters could be involved or if it will be based on comics on the many movies made that have been based on said comics.

Disney's Mickey and the Beanstalk

Mickey and the Beanstalk is likely as close to a full-fledged Disney animated film based on the Jack and the Beanstalk fairy tale as we are going to get. That being said, with all of the recent trends of the studio announcing live-action adaptations of their animated classics, it seems like it was only a matter of time before this happened.

According to a report from Deadline, Disney has acquired the rights to Beanstalk, a revisionist take on the Jack and the Beanstalk story written by Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan. Hit the jump for more.
