Oftentimes looks can be deceiving, but when it comes to two seemingly harmless women looking to get shelter from the pouring rain, one might think to offer them a helping hand by letting them in. Of course, sometimes those kind gestures can get you into some serious trouble, especially when it comes to Even (Keanu Reeves), a happily married man who gets into some trouble when two beautiful women (Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas) come knocking on his door.
Now Lionsgate has released a brand new trailer for Eli Roth’s latest film Knock Knock, showing what happens when temptation comes knocking. Check it out here below.
It’s been a very long seven years – six if you count the Nation’s Pride portion of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds – since we’ve seen a Roth directorial effort. The filmmaker has been acting as a producer for many projects since Hostel Part II, but Knock Knock sees him sitting back in the director’s chair. The film actually debuted back in January 2015 at the Sundance Film Festival, where screened to mixed reviews. A teaser was then released a few days after.
Lorenza Izzo, Ana de Armas, with Aaron Burns, Ignacia Allamand, and Colleen Camp also star.
Lionsgate Premiere will release Knock Knock both theatrically and on Video On Demand on October 9, 2015.
When a devoted husband and father is left home alone for the weekend, two stranded young women unexpectedly knock on his door for help. What starts out as a kind gesture results in a dangerous seduction and a deadly game of cat and mouse. A sexy new thriller from director Eli Roth and written by Eli Roth & Nicolás López & Guillermo Amoedo, KNOCK KNOCK stars Keanu Reeves as the family man who falls into temptation and Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas as the seductresses who wreak havoc upon his life, turning a married man’s dark fantasy into his worst nightmare.
