The latest gameplay trailer for Dark Souls III has been released.

The new trailer is something of a music video, set to a cover of the song “True Colors” performed by Richie Kohan and featuring Faux Fix, while also showing off some previously unseen gameplay footage.

Previous games in the series have also had music video trailers, such as the original Dark Souls‘ “Bartholomew” trailer and the Dark Souls II “I Am Undone” trailer.

Developed by acclaimed Japanese developer FromSoftware and directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, DARK SOULS III is the latest chapter in the critically acclaimed DARK SOULS series with its trademark sword and sorcery combat and rewarding action RPG gameplay. Players will travel across a wide variety of locations in an interconnected world of unrelenting challenge and deep RPG gameplay as they search for a way to survive the coming apocalypse.

Dark Souls III continues to push the boundaries with the latest, ambitious chapter in the critically-acclaimed and genre-defining series. As fires fade and only embers remain, journey once more into a world filled with more daunting and colossal enemies and environments. Players will be immersed into a world of epic atmosphere and darkness through faster gameplay and amplified combat intensity. New to the series are the Battle Arts attacks.
