Guillermo del Toro is a workaholic – writer, director, producer, teacher. That’s probably not news to anyone. In conjunction with the announcement that he will run a Masterclass at Annecy (International Animation Film Festival) this June, is a first look pic at his upcoming Netflix original series, Trollhunters.
Check out the pic and press release below.
Based on his novel (with co-author Daniel Kraus) of the same name, Trollhunters follows the story of Jimmy, put on a quest to save missing children from out of control evil trolls, with the help of the good ones. The book was pure entertainment, with a coming of age adventure feel, that will surely translate well to the small screen.
This is not the first time Guillermo del Toro will have one of his novels adapted to the small screen. FX’s The Strain starts its 3rd season later this year.
