Paramount Pictures has just released a new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows. The film brings back the Turtles Leonardo (Pete Ploszek and Johnny Knoxville), Raphael (Alan Ritchson), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher), and Donatello (Jeremy Howard), who must once more fight against Shredder and the Foot Clan, who are now supported by an arsenal of new deadly mutants. Megan Fox also returns to reprise her role as April O’Neill, and she will be joined by Stephen Amell, who plays Casey Jones, a man who allies himself with the Turtles.

Newcomers include Gary Anthony Williams, who will play Bebop, the mutant warthog sporting a purple mohawk; Stephen Farrelly a.k.a. WWE’s Sheamus, who will play Rocksteady, a rhino who wears military garb; and Tyler Perry, who will play Doctor Baxter Stockman, the evil scientist who helps create the two mutants.

This is more of a video giving us an introduction to who our four heroes are rather than it is a trailer. A reminder of sorts as to who is who, and what their special skills are. Not that you don’t already know the title characters, but it’s nice to be reminded. We’ve always known Leonardo to be the “fearless leader,” Raphel to be “incredibly violent, Donatello to be “the tactical genius,” and Michaelangelo to be the self-described “a triple threat: brains, brawn, and a dazzling personality”.

Will Arnett also returns to reprise his role. Other newcomers to the franchise include Laura Linney as Chief Rebecca Vincent and Brian Tee as The Shredder.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows arrives in theaters June 3, 2016.
