Fans of the long-running Discovery Channel series Mythbusters were understandably upset by the decision to continue without stars Kari Byron, Grant Imahara, and Tory Belleci, as well as the show’s eventual end not long after.
If you were desperately waiting for the inevitable new show featuring the Mythbusters crew, today is a good day for you. It’s being reported that Byron, Imahara, and Belleci are all set to reunite for a new Netflix series titled White Rabbit Project.
The new show will be an unscripted reality series, in which the trio will use their talents to try out new experiments. So, basically Mythbusters 2. Which is surely fine by fans.
Here’s a description from Deadline:
In the Netflix series, the three head down the rabbit hole to investigate weird and wonderful events from pop culture, science and history. Under their microscope are topics as diverse as jailbreaks, superpower technology, heists and crazy world war two weapons. In each episode the hosts immerse themselves in experiments, builds and tests as they sleuth the truth behind these and other well googled themes.
White Rabbit Project comes from Beyond Productions, the production company behind Mythbusters.
The series is set to arrive on December 9th.
