Earlier this year, Captain America: Civil War stormed into theaters wowing audiences with its spectacular narrative and incredible splash-page sequence that no one could stop talking about. Now, Disney and Marvel are letting fans bring that home, as the film is now available on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD. We’ve already reviewed the film and had some extra cool coverage during the press junket. Like my previous Blu-ray reviews, this won’t be so much of a review of the film itself, but of the bonus features that come with it. Check it out below.

Here are the list of bonus features with a review below.

“Making Of Captain America: Civil War”
Details a look at the path that lead us to the film from its inception and inspiration from the comics to the details in the fight scenes. Though this is only part one of the feature, they are broken down into sub-sections starting out at “Page To Screen,” which talks about the seven issue book and how it served as an inspiration for the film to be as close to its comic book counterpart as possible. The Russo Brothers talk about the collaborative process from those behind the scenes to the lead actors. “War Begins” details the production process, the fight choreography, and the Russos’ vision for the film. “Brothers In Arms” focuses on the relationship between Captain America and Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Solider, and also Cap’s newest brother Sam Wilson aka The Falcon. In “Secret Weapons” we learn a little bit more about Wanda or in other words how Elizabeth Olsen gave the Scarlet Witch more life with her hand movements. We also learn a little bit more about the modifications to Hawkeye’s bow and quiver. “The New Guy” describes Scott Lang’s place on Team Captain America and how he should not be underestimated. “The Wild Card” gives us a look at Black Widow and where she fits in the film as she has a close relationship with Cap and Iron Man. “The Company Men” details what General Thunderbolt Ross’ place and how he has changed since the events of The Incredible Hulk. This subsection also talks a little bit about Rhodey’s arc and the changes to his War Machine suit.

“Making Of Captain America: Civil War Part II”
It all starts off with “The Diplomat” a small chapter that talks about The Vision’s growth as a character since we first saw him in Avengers: Age Of Ultron and as he is searches for his own humanity. Since he and Wanda got their powers from the same source, it make sense that they have such a close relationship as they do in te comics. As we get to “The Hunter” we learn about The Black Panther, who comes in with his own agenda. Chadwick Boseman talks about what it was like to receive the call that he was getting the part and the kind of training he went through to bring the Wakandan king to life. “The Rookie” is of course all about Spider-Man. Here we learn why they start him off as a hero already and pass on some familiar story elements like the tragedy of Uncle Ben being killed or the spider bite. But not only does the chapter focus on Spider-Man, but also talks about Tom Holland being Peter Parker and how his age played a factor and how it will play a factor as the MCU continues on. “The Battle” covers the film’s signature epic fight scene which is referred to as the splash panel. The cast and crew describe their experience of what it was like to shoot that scene and what it was like give new tricks to Ant-Man. “The Sabetour” addresses Zemo’s manipulation of the characters as he is putting our heroes in a position to fight amongst themselves. “Aftermath” details the repercussions of Bucky assassinating Tony Stark and how the writers used that to drive Iron Man and Cap to fight each other in the emotional third act.

“Gag Reels”
Typical bloopers and goofing around, and since the cast knows each other so well, there is quite a camaraderie.

“Open Your Mind: Marvel’s Doctor Strange — Exclusive Sneak Peek”
A four-minute featurette that teases the upcoming Doctor Strange with the cast talking about their roles in the film. Behind-the-scenes look doesn’t offer much in terms of new footage, but there is plenty of concept art that will give you an idea of what to expect in the film.

“Deleted & Extended Scenes”
Includes the extended scene of Peggy’s funeral (5:57), and another scene where Zemo meets Doctor Broussard (0:33), a verbal exchange between Black Widow and Black Panther titled “You Are Not Used to the Truth” (0:52), and a sequence that got taken out of the splash page titled “Gotta Get Me One of Those” (0:29).

“Audio Commentary”
Directors Anthony & Joe Russo and Writers Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely bring in their insight on the process of bringing Civil War from page to screen. During the commentary they talk about the vision of the film, taking the narrative of the comics and fitting it into the MCU, dividing up the team, and more.
