It’s been a long journey for Slipknot cofounder turned director M. Shawn Crahan, and writers Joe Casey and Chris Burnham to bring Casey’s 2010 graphic novel Officer Downe to life, but it’s finally here!
Check out the official poster and trailer below.
Officer Downe is the story of enthusiastic LAPD cop Terrence Downe who was killed, then brought back to life as a crazy weapon against super-villains. He repeatedly dies then is resurrected more looney as before. The comic is fun and completely over the top, which seems the perfect role for lead Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy), whose Alexander “Tig” Trager loved and killed with equal passion.
The cast includes Kim Coates in the title role, Tyler Ross, Lauren Luna Velez, Meadow Williams, Alison Lohman, and Sona Eyambe.
Director M. Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan and star Kim Coates will be at NYCC on Saturday, October 8th.
