SuperMansion: War On Christmas, an original holiday special for the stop-motion animated series starring the voice talent of Bryan Cranston, premieres online today at Crackle, Sony’s streaming network.

Joining Cranston in the voice cast for the holiday special are fellow series regulars Keegan-Michael Key, Tucker Gilmore, Heidi Gardner, and Zeb Wells (the show’s co-creator), Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons as Mr. Skibumpers, an interstellar imp, and Gary Anthony Williams as the real Santa Claus.

If you’re not familiar with SuperMansion, it’s a stop-motion animated comedy television series from the people behind Robot Chicken that premiered in Fall 2015. Cranston voices the old-time super-powered human Titanium Rex, who’s the leader of a peculiar costumed superhero team called League of Freedom. Anton Yelchin reprised his voice role of Dudley, the brother of the Batman-like Black Saturn, for the special, which is dedicated to the late Star Trek actor who died last June in an accident.

Parsons’ mischievous Mr. Skibumpers definitely bumps up things up to the next level, and the special’s storyline is top notch. It’s funny and raunchy and perfect. Seriously, I loved the hell out of it. It deserves multiple viewings, and should be mandatory holiday viewing from now on. One of my favorite lines comes from Jewbot after the gang tries to figure out a way to describe their inadvertent blending of multiple December celebrations: “If only there was a catch-all term that included all of these traditions while respecting their individuality.” Love.

“SuperMansion: War On Christmas,” a Crackle original special, focuses on a dysfunctional group of self-righteous superheroes, The League of Freedom, who can’t agree on anything, but must band together to save Christmas when an interstellar imp, Mr. Skibumpers (Jim Parsons), unleashes a real-life Santa Claus (Gary Anthony Williams) who experiences an existential crisis and runs amok. Ultimately, the team comes to understand that their differences of opinion are what the holiday spirit is all about.
