This past weekend saw the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the standalone story about the group of rebels who stole the plans to the Death Star, which directly leads to the events of the original film, 1977’s Star Wars: A New Hope.
For this occasion, Ian Doescher, author of Quirk Books’ line of Shakespearianized Star Wars novels, has written a Shakespearean sonnet titled “Rogue In Vogue” inspired by the new film.
Head over to Quirk to read the entire sonnet.
Doescher took the two Star Wars trilogies and playfully rewrote them in Shakespearean language. The original trilogy is now available as a box set that contains the first three books in hardcover, along with an 8-by-34-inch full-color poster.
