It appears that Josh Gad persistently trying to pry Star Wars: The Last Jedi spoilers from Daisy Ridley will be an ongoing thing. For the first and second videos, it’s just been him trying to get answers to his questions. When that was going nowhere, he enlisted the help of his Murder on the Orient Express co-star Dame Judi Dench. The video seemed to have the answers to his questions, but it cut off at the right moment.
Obviously we aren’t getting anywhere with Gad leading the questioning, so he’s recruited some extra help. Let’s just say there is a bit of a crossover going on with stars and filmmakers from Murder on the Orient Express, Jurassic World, The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Hamilton, and even Star Wars: The Force Awakens questioning her. And no, I’m not talking about Daisy Ridley, herself. Check out who else wants to know more about Star Wars: The Last Jedi in the video below.
So just in case you do not recognize these faces, the people who appeared in the video are Murder on the Orient Express co-star Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton) who wants to know how many musical numbers there will be. This was followed up by Star Wars: Episode IX director Colin Trevorrow, who said anything that she could tell him would be helpful. Then Jurassic World co-stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard chime in, with Pratt saying that he is in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the next Avengers movie, while Howard brought up the heel controversy again by asking if Rey’s heels ever get stuck in the Millennium Falcon.
Meanwhile Penelope Cruz and Lucy Boynton, both of whom have starring roles in Murder on the Orient Express, had a question about Supreme Leader Snoke. And finally, Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams wants to know if Luke Skywalker has any lines. The only one who was quiet during this whole exchange was Murder on the Orient Express co-star Tom Bateman.
While we know how these videos end up, it just goes to show the worldwide appeal of Star Wars. Everybody wants to know more about the film, and simply cannot contain their excitement.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters on December 15, 2017. Murder On The Orient Express opens in theaters on November 22, 2017.
