Last weekend, President Donald Trump spent his time at Mar-a-Lago playing golf and binging television for “research.” While that is the norm these days, what followed was unbelievable. At 3am Sunday morning, after finishing the most recent episode of Arrow, a barrage of tweets rained down in the Twitterverse, criticizing the weak leadership of Star City mayor, Oliver Queen.
More on this story below.
DJT is demanding that Mayor Queen meet him at the White House with a plan to control the havoc that the vigilante team, led by the Green Arrow (and the special villains they attract), wreak on Star City.
“It’s sad the way Mayor Queen slips in sneaky insults at me when his entire city is chaos!” Trump tweeted.
When asked for a response to the demand, Oliver Queen portrayer Stephen Amell said, “I’m not Mayor Queen. He’s fiction. But I would be happy to sit down with President Trump and discuss funding for the fight against cancer,” a cause very close to Amell’s heart.
Trump dismissed that as mainstream media liberal propaganda designed to undermine his administration.
Here’s another one of Trump’s Twitter posts:
“I ask, ‘What’s going on in Star City, right? What is going on?’ There’s no excuse for it. There’s no excuse for it. I’m sure you’re asking the same question, ‘What’s going on in Star City?’ “Let me tell you. I would wipe those vigilantes and all crime out of Star City in less than one day!”
We’re still waiting for you to do one thing to actually #MAGA, President Trump.
April Fool’s!
But it’s scary how real this could be, isn’t it? I’m actually waiting for Barry Allen to go back and fix this mess he created with Flashpoint. I’m sure Bernie Sanders is really supposed to be president. I wish this was fiction.
