Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new trailer for Annabelle: Creation, a sequel to the 2014 first spinoff of the Conjuring movies, Annabelle. The sequel will be followed by at least two more spinoffs, The Nun and The Crooked Man, in what’s now being call The Conjuring Universe.
Starring in the sequel is Miranda Otto, Anthony LaPaglia, Stephanie Sigman, Talitha Bateman, Lulu Wilson, Philippa Coulthard, Lou Lou Safran, Samara Lee, and Tayler Buck. It’s directed by David F. Sandberg (Lights Out), with the screenplay written by Gary Dauberman (Annabelle, It, The Nun).

From New Line Cinema comes â€œAnnabelle: Creation,â€ with David F. Sandberg (â€œLights Outâ€) helming the follow up to 2014â€™s hugely successful â€œAnnabelle,â€ which scared up nearly $257 million at the worldwide box office during its run in theaters. The new film is once again being produced by Peter Safran and James Wan, who also partnered so effectively on â€œThe Conjuringâ€ movies.
In â€œAnnabelle: Creation,â€ several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmakerâ€™s possessed creation, Annabelle.
Sandberg directs from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman, who also wrote â€œAnnabelle.â€ The film stars Stephanie Sigman (â€œSpectreâ€), Talitha Bateman (â€œThe 5th Waveâ€), Lulu Wilson (upcoming â€œOuija 2,â€ â€œDeliver Us from Evilâ€), Philippa Coulthard (â€œAfter the Darkâ€), Grace Fulton (â€œBadlandâ€), Lou Lou Safran (â€œThe Choiceâ€), Samara Lee (â€œFoxcatcher,â€ â€œThe Last Witch Hunterâ€), Tayler Buck in her feature film debut, with Anthony LaPaglia (TVâ€™s â€œWithout a Traceâ€) and Miranda Otto (Showtimeâ€™s â€œHomeland,â€ â€œThe Lord of the Ringsâ€ Trilogy).
