| Philip Lord and Chris Miller Will No Longer Direct Han Solo ‘Star Wars’ Spinoff |

Philip Lord and Chris Miller (Jump Street films and The LEGO Movie) will no longer be directing the untitled Han Solo Star Wars spinoff. The two were named the directors of the spinoff back in July 2015, with Alden Ehrenreich taking on the iconic role just last year. That was followed by Donald Glover joining as Lando Calrissian, and Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge joining for other supporting roles. | Daniel Day-Lewis Is Retiring From Acting |

Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the most prolific actors to date, with three Academy Award wins under his belt, plus a couple more nominations. It’s hard to believe that the actor would ever think about retirement. However, that seems to be the case. In an official statement from his spokeswoman, Day-Lewis “will no longer be working as an actor.” More on the story below.

| ICYMI: Neill Blomkamp’s Oats Studios Short Films ‘Volume 1,’ “Rakka”
We’ve been seeing some teasers for Volume 1, the first part of the new experimental short films venture from District 9, Elysium, and Chappie director Neill Blomkamp, Oats Studios. Last week the first short, “Rakka” starring Sigourney Weaver, was finally released to the masses. Last week also happened to be E3 2017, which is always a whirlwind for video game fans. Because of that whirlwind, I missed seeing “Rakka” was released. Over 1.7 million people so far have not missed it. But if you’re like me and it eluded you, you can check it out below along with a new video released today, called “Cooking with Bill.”
