At San Diego Comic-Con Sunday morning, the Supernatural panel won the Con by having Kansas perform live their hit and season-ending anthem, “Carry On Wayward Son!” I so wish I was there. Rob Benedict and Richard Speight Jr. (Chuck/God and The Trixter/Gabriel & director of a few episodes), the Kings of Con, introduced the panel: EP’s Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb, the boys, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padelecki, and to top it off, Misha Collins popped by.
Check out the sizzle reel from SDCC 2017 below.
The panel talked about and the trailer shows the utter bloodbath that was last season. And we saw it: Castiel, Crowley (Mark Sheppard), Rowena (Ruth Connell), and pretty much all of the British Men of Letters, as well as the usual victims, all met with a gruesome dead. Collins said he “wasn’t going away.” Yes!!!
One thing that was super exciting, is that the apocalypse world will bring some old faves back, just as it did Jim Beaver as a very different Bobby Singer.
Supernatural returns Thursday, October 10th at 8:00pm ET on The CW.
