It even features a story from creator Jonathan Maberry, just to keep us course corrected. I have done a little skipping around whilst reading this little gem and I must say it is a doozy. Loads of action mixed with a serious helping of suspense makes for some great short stories. Having a new perspective on a beloved character can sometimes backfire but so far, so good with this group. Of course, it helps when the original writer is there to help edit! Less creepy and more fun, this anthology is all about stretching the boundaries of a well developed protagonist. In fact, with all this new blood writing Ledger tales, I was amazed at how different authors explored different facets of his skills and personality.

You cannot go wrong with this anthology; I wish I had more time to detail everything out and convince you why but you will just have to take my word for it. You will want to read this book if you have ever enjoyed any Dresden Files, Repairman Jack, or Jason Bourne stories, for this guy is a little bit of all of those rolled into one. Besides, where else can you find Lamborghinis, minotaurs, zombies, and amazing movie quotes all in one spot? Happy reading and Happy Halloween, geeks!
