Star Wars Don't spoil me!

I am your father!

Star Wars Opening Weekend.

Over the last few days, many, many, MANY geeks have gone to see em>Star Wars: The Last Jedi in standard theaters as well as the 3D, 4D(X), IMAX, and ATMOS experience. You love that, but you’re not one of them… yet. You plan to go to the theater on a later date with the family, perhaps next week or the week after when the crowds have died down.

In the meantime, how do you keep yourself free from spoilers that might ruin the film for you?

Enter Force Block – a browser extension specifically designed to keep the Internet from ruining your relationship with Star Wars: The Last Jedi before it even begins.

Here’s the word from the developers, who built the extension when they were:

“In 2015 the team at Priceless Misc was worried that their Star Wars The Force Awakens experience would be jaded by internet spoilers. In an effort to keep their minds free of such movie-ruining chatter, the team decided to do something about it and created Force Block. What was at first, a silly idea, morphed into a weekend project and was downloaded over 100,000 times and kept the internet safe.

The idea is laudable, and frankly, it’s one that’s matured since Star Wars: The Force Awakens exploded into theaters in 2015, ten years after the last theatrical release, 2005’s Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Coverage was extensive, and now the Priceless Misc has upgraded Force Block for the new movie.

Check out the extension for Chrome, the world’s most popular browser, here. It’s 100% $Free.99, and you can read more about it here.

Once you’ve seen The Last Jedi, you can get rid or disable the extension, which would allow you to catch up on all of your Star Wars news here on Geeks Of Doom. If you just can’t wait and want some hints, take a look at this character study of The Last Jedi, or just go all out and learn what Geeks of Doom learned when we sat down with the cast!

May the Force be with you.
