Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now available on Blu-ray. So you can bring each and every exciting minute of one of the best Star Wars films home.

Of course, there are so many more things to look forward to than just the movie. There are a ton of extras to dive into. A lot of these extras will explain the creative choices we see in the film, as well as some of the narrative ones. Which may help explain why it is one of the most polarizing Star Wars films to date. A trailer has been released announcing the release dates for Star Wars: The Last Jedi on digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.

Also announced for the home video release are the various special features that will be available, including over two hours of bonus footage, a feature-length documentary, and more.

Full disclosure, if you haven’t watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi, this latest article will be full of SPOILERS. It pertains to who Rey’s parents are and how it might have an impact on Episode IX. When last I wrote about Star Wars, it was late 2015. I’d seen a screening of The Force Awakens, and I left the film feeling pumped. It’d been ten years since any of us had seen a Star Wars film on screen, and while 2005’s Revenge of the Sith was probably the very best of the prequel trilogy, I’d left that film somewhat disappointed – it just wasn’t the unqualified space opera tragedy I was looking for.
