Netflix has released another preview for their cyberpunk series Altered Carbon, which is based on Richard Morgan‘s book of the same name.

The latest video is a featurette, in which cast and crew behind the series including creator Laeta Kalogridis and stars Joel Kinnaman, Ato Essandoh, Martha Higareda, and Will Yun Lee, talk about the show. Also starring is James Purefoy, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Kristin Lehman, Dichen Lachman, and Leonardo Nam.

SYNOPSIS:

Based on the award-winning novel, Altered Carbon takes place in a future where the human mind can now be digitized and downloaded into a “cortical stack” and placed into new bodies, called sleeves.

The series follows Envoy soldier Takeshi Kovacs (Joel Kinnaman), who is brought back to life centuries later to investigate the attempted murder of Laurens Bancroft (James Purefoy), the wealthiest man on Earth. As the investigation progresses, Kovacs comes to learn that his past isn’t nearly as buried as he thought.

All episodes of the first season of Altered Carbon are will be arriving on Netflix on February 2nd.
