Perhaps no other genre of film is more dependent on great music than horror. Think of Jaws without John Williams. Think Psycho without Bernard Herrmann. Imagine The Exorcist without Tubular Bells. In the last 40 years no one has had a bigger impact in genre filmmaking than John Carpenter, and one of the distinguishing characteristics of his films are the scores, many written and performed by the Master of Horror himself. Thursday night at Terminal 5 on the west side of Manhattan; with Christine, the sleek red Plymouth Fury, parked outside, fans packed in to watch and listen to the acclaimed horror director perform themes off his new album Anthology: Movie Themes (1974-1998).

| First Trailer For Pixar’s ‘The Incredibles 2’ Is Finally Here |

The time has finally come for Pixar to reveal the first teaser trailer for The Incredibles 2, the long-awaited sequel that everyone has been asking for since the end of the first movie teased one back in 2004. While Pixar prides itself in its unique and original storytelling, the acclaimed animation studio does revisit their properties from time to time. Some are hits, others are misses, but they would not have a sequel or a prequel without a good reason. So imagine how fans reacted to the news that they would be getting a sequel to the film that probably deserves a sequel above all other Pixar films. Check it out below along with a poster.

| AC/DC Guitarist and Co-Founder Malcolm Young Has Died
AC/DC guitarist Malcolm Young, who with his brother Angus Young co-founded the legendary hard rock band, has died, according to a statement released by the band on their official Facebook page. He was 64. The statement did not reveal a cause of death, but the musician had been suffering from dementia, which had officially forced his retirement from the band in 2014. After his departure, his nephew Stevie Young took his place in the group.

| ‘The Strangers 2’: First Trailer For Horror Sequel ‘Prey At Night’ Released
Nearly a decade after the release of The Strangers back in 2008, a sequel titled The Strangers: Prey at Night is on the way early next year. Though the movie is technically a sequel to the first movie, which starred Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman as a couple at a secluded summer home being terrorized by masked intruders, it’s described as “inspired by” the 2008 film. In it, a family staying with relatives at a mobile home park find themselves dealing with those same masked intruders. An official teaser trailer for The Strangers: Prey at Night has been released, and can be viewed below.
