Avengers: Infinity War

We all know that Avengers: Infinity War will be the superhero film to end all superhero films. The mega-ensemble sequel will unite at least 22 heroes together for one film that sees them try to prevent Thanos from obtaining all six powerful Infinity Stones that have been hidden throughout the galaxy.

In anticipation of Infinity War, EW has released 15 new magazine covers featuring the heroes that will be seen in the film. Check it out below.

Each cover has a different hero(es) on them. When they are put together they form the Avengers “A” emblem. Of course, this isn’t just about the covers themselves. The magazine will have coverage of the highly anticipated film, which will open earlier than originally scheduled. So we can expect to learn more about Thanos and his quest to obtain all six Infinity Stones, how the MCU is connected, the evolution of female superheroes, and how one Iron Man film helped launch the success of the MCU.

You can check out the covers over at EW, and we have them all put together below. But if you check out each cover, you’ll find out some interesting connections about the characters and how they play a role in Infinity War. Some of which may be a little bit spoilerish.

The covers reveal that Gamora (Karen Gillan) and Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) are both siblings who found redemption after aligning with darker forces. Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is in possession of the Time Stone, one of the six that Thanos is looking for. Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) returns to earth by crashing through Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum. Thanos (Josh Brolin) is in possession of the Space Stone and Power Stone. And it will be interesting to see what the brainy Shuri (Letitia Wright) would think of Vision (Paul Bettany). And is it possible that Mantis (Pom Klementieff) could help clear Bucky’s (Sebastian Stan) mind with her emphatic powers?

We also get a new look at some of the upcoming suits that all appear in the sequel, including a closer look at Iron Man’s (Robert Downey Jr.) new Bleeding Edge Armor and Spider-Man’s (Tom Holland) Iron Spider suit. There are also some other interesting pairings that could somehow play a role in the film.

There is a lot to sift through, but all will be revealed to us soon.

Avengers: Infinity War will open in theaters on April 27, 2018.
