A24 has released an official trailer for an upcoming drama titled Hot Summer Nights, which stars recent Academy Award nominee Timothée Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name, Lady Bird), Maika Monroe (It Follows, The Guest), and Alex Roe (The 5th Wave, Rings).
The film is a coming of age story, following Daniel Middleton (Chalamet) as he spends a summer on Cape Cod, falls for a girl (Monroe), and lands a summer gig teaming up with a drug dealer (Roe).

DESCRIPTION:
Set in Cape Cod over one scorching summer, this fun and stylized thriller follows Daniel (Timothée Chalamet), a teenager who gets in over his head dealing drugs with the neighborhood rebel while pursuing his new partner’s enigmatic sister.
Hot Summer Nights is written and directed by Elijah Bynum, whose screenplay made The Black List back in 2013. The film is his debut as both a writer and director.
Also starring is William Fichtner (Black Hawk Down, Armageddon), Thomas Jane (The Mist, The Punisher), Emory Cohen (The Place Beyond the Pines, Brooklyn), Maia Mitchell (After the Dark, The Fosters), and Jack Kesy (Deadpool 2, 12 Strong).
Hot Summer Nights will be released in theaters on a (hopefully) hot summer night this July 27th.
