| New Trailer For ‘Vox Lux’ Starring Natalie Portman Released
Neon has released a new trailer for Vox Lux starring Natalie Portman as a pop star whose career took off after a tragedy, and who is now attempting a comeback after a scandal almost ruined her. The movie is directed by Brady Corbet, an actor who has starred in 24, Funny Games, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Melancholia, and Force Majeure, and who made his directorial debut with 2015’s The Childhood of a Leader. It also stars Raffey Cassidy (Tomorrowland, The Killing of a Sacred Deer), Jude Law (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, The Grand Budapest Hotel), Stacy Martin (Nymphomaniac, All the Money in the World), and Jennifer Ehle (The King’s Speech, Zero Dark Thirty). The more projects Paul King takes on, the less likely it looks like he will ever direct Paddington 3. As unfortunate as that news is, King’s ability to bring “magical ideas to explore human emotions” will live on in other films. Now the Paddington director will be at the helm of a new film for Fox Searchlight. According to new reports, King will be behind the lens for Time’s Fool, an adaptation of Glyn Maxwell‘s novel Time’s Fool: A Tale in Verse. More on the report, below.
