Itsy Bitsy Movie

An official theatrical trailer has been released for Itsy Bitsy, a new addition to the always popular giant spider horror sub-sub-genre.

The story follows a mother, along with her two children, moving from the city to the country so for a new job as a private nurse for a man whose secret past ends up tormenting them in the form of a massive spider. Elizabeth Roberts, Arman Darbo, Chloe Perrin, Bruce Davison, Denise Crosby, Treva Etienne, Eileen Dietz, and Matty Cardarople star in the movie.

You can find an official synopsis for Itsy Bitsy and check out the new trailer below, along with a previously released trailer if you missed it.

SYNOPSIS:

A single mother, Kara (Elizabeth Roberts), moves from New York to the quiet countryside with her two children for a job opportunity she can’t afford to turn down. The family moves into their humble new guesthouse, where her teenage son, Jesse (Arman Darbo), begins the unhappy task of looking after his little sister, Cambria (Chloe Perrin). Kara begins her work as a private nurse to Walter (Bruce Davison), a man stricken with multiple sclerosis and an appraiser of rare antiquities … but Walter’s secret past soon invites doom and terror.

Jesse discovers a mysterious relic of ancient origin that had been brought to the household by Ahkeeba (Treva Etienne), a shady international associate of Walter’s. All too quickly they discover that the relic contains more than just legends and myths. Inside waits a terrifying creature born of ancient darkness and pure instinct: a prehistoric cave spider unlike the modern world has ever seen.

The movie is directed by Micah Gallo, who is making his feature directorial debut. Gallo has worked on visual effects for movies like the Hatchet series, The Innkeepers, and 2010’s Frozen.

Gallo also came up with the story and co-wrote the screenplay along with Jason Alvino, who’s done special effects work on titles like TRON: Legacy and Sucker Punch, and Bryan Dick, who has previously penned 911 Nightmare, Killer Under the Bed, and more.

Itsy Bitsy is set to be released in limited theaters and on digital and video on demand services on August 30th.
