Merkader   |

Dragon Age: Origins is a game that I just can’t seem to finish, let alone touch the Downloadable Content. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good award-winning game, it’s just fallen to new more new fresh games.

Well game developer Bioware isn’t waiting for me to finish the first game, or the expansions. The August cover of Game Informer reveals Dragon Age 2!

The game will feature an all new hero and a new region to the Dragon Age Universe. No release date has been announced, since all we have is the cover to the magazine. The article inside is 10 pages so stay tuned for some additional information once we have it.

‘Batman 3’ To Start Filming Next April
space
Merkader   |

Digital Spy is reporting that Batman 3, the sequel to The Dark Knight, will start filming in April 2011.

They got this juicy bit of news while talking to Sir Michael Caine about his new film Inception, directed by Christopher Nolan. Check the video below to see the scoop for yourself. Caine plays Alfred the butler in the current Nolan-directed Batman movies.

So if they are planning to begin shooting in less than a year, one can only assume that most of the details related to the film are finalized, or close to it.

Back in May, Warner Bros revealed that the third Batman movie would be released on July 20, 2012.

Let’s bust out the theories. Who’s going to be the villain? Who will play them? Will the Batman voice get any better than the last movie? (God I hope so!) Hit up the comments with what you think we’ll see, or what you hope we’ll see.

Is This What Joss Whedon’s Wonder Woman Would Have Looked Like?

Merkader   |

There’s been a lot of controversy lately surrounding the new costume design for Wonder Woman, with many feeling that giving the iconic superhero pants really misses the mark.

Shawna Trpcic, a costume designer who worked on Joss Whedon shows like Firefly, Angel, Dr. Horrible’s Sing A-Long Blog, and Dollhouse, revealed designs for the superhero that she created for live-action Wonder Woman movie that Whedon was linked to in 2005, before leaving the project in 2007.

Trpcic took it upon herself to post four sketches of her costume designs for that Wonder Woman project to her Twitter account.

Her designs aren’t really similar to those of Jim Lee, who did the recent redesign for DC Comics, except for the part that people seem to be the most upset about — pants! (Of the four, two versions include pants.) Check out the images here below and let us know if you like Trpcic’s designs better than what we are getting now.

Hulu Offers Subscription Service With Huluplus

Merkader   |

We have known that popular internet television site Hulu was going to a subscription model for a while now. What we didn’t know is how paid Hulu would be different from free Hulu. Well, the curtain has just been lifted with Huluplus. You can check out the site to see the list of much of the content that is being offered, and it’s quite extensive.

The big thing for me is that having the subscription will open up Hulu to new devises, like, the PS3 come this July and the Xbox 360 in early 2011. That’s right Hulu, with more content, right into your living room through your gaming console.

We were teased that Hulu’s subscription service was coming to one of these devices, but I never thought it would come to both! Very impressive, I do not think cable companies will like this one bit, and soon enough I may be canceling my cable all together. What about you? Interested in giving Hulu ten bucks a month instead of paying a cable provider? Watch the video below and see if Huluplus is for you.

Watch Now: ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ Trailer

Merkader   |

If you are like me you have been enjoying the world of Harry Potter for a good long time. It’s hard to imagine a world where Harry and the gang don’t yet exist. For me it was a little sad when I finished the final book, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, knowing that my journey with Harry had come to an end.

So, it is with that same kind of sadness that I present you with the world premiere trailer for the movie adaptation of the final book, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, here below.

Thankfully, the book is being split up into two movies, Part 1 and Part 2, which I think is the right move. The Deathly Hallows really felt like two separate books. Those of you that read it know what I’m talking about. I think it will be interesting to see that split.

The trailer below features scenes from both movies, Part I which is will be released in November of 2010, and Part 2 in July of 2011. So go ahead check out the awesome sauce below then put on Chamber of Secrets and marvel at how young the actors all really were.
