Warner Brothers has released the second teaser poster for Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises via the movie’s official site on Saturday. In this poster, we see the likes of Tom Hardy‘s Bane walking away in the rain with his back turned towards the shattered remains of Batman’s mask. The phrase at the top reads “The Legend Ends” in a haunting white font that seems to suggest that the story of The Bat has come to its conclusion, while the title of the film at the bottom suggests something entirely different — something more along the lines of a fight to regain The Batman’s heroic status.

Unfortunately, some things happened that lead the character to believe that the disc had been stolen. And of course that can only mean one thing for a man whose love for The Batman has been compromise, it’s time to dress up like The Caped Crusader. Make it so, Abed. Make. It. So.

I recently started reading Hack/Slash with the first omnibus from Image, but if I hadn’t, this would have been a perfect way to start. And believe me, I know how long it can take someone to finally start reading a comic book as I’ve gone back and forth with Hack/Slash for a few years now considering the the fact that it’s been in circulation for so many years, but this comic is quite simply a fun and awesome romp through horror.
