If you know anything about me at all, then you know I have been a Jim Butcher fan for years. Meeting him was one of the greatest things that ever happened as a bookstore manager and I have long been a supporter of all things Dresden Files. So the recent announcement that there was another comic book series coming is one worthy of shouting from the mountain tops. Yep, that’s right. A new series is coming this Summer from Dynamite Entertainment called The Dresden Files: Dog Men. Check out the covers for Jim Butcher’s The Dresden Files: Dog Men #1 here below.

Vampirella 2017 #1
Written by Paul Cornell
Art by Jimmy Broxton
Colors by Jimmy Broxton
Letters by Travis Lanham

Cover C by Joseph Michael Linsner
Cover D by Cosplay Cover Variant
Cover E by Jimmy Broxton
Dynamite Entertainment
Release Date: March 15, 2017
Cover Price: $3.99 The one thing that sticks out, at least with me, is the sheer number of times this character has been given new origins or has be revamped (no pun intended) over the decades. To be fair though, most don’t deal with the future like Vampirella 2017 #1 does here. She has changed much over the decades, but has always remained a kick ass vampire that takes no crap from anyone.

Letters by Lois Buhalis & Tom Orzechowski
Dynamite Entertainment
Release Date: March 15, 2017
Cover Price: $3.99 I don’t normally make a habit out of reviewing or spotlighting every issue in a mini-series, but with this one I cannot seem to help it. Wonder Woman ’77 Meets The Bionic Woman #3 continues to astound me and make me nostalgic for my childhood. Additionally, with March being Women’s History Month, it only seems fitting that we celebrate these iconic characters. Though, to be fair, I plan on celebrating this series each and every month regardless.

Cover by Joe Corroney
Dynamite Entertainment
Release Date: March 8, 2017
Cover Price: $3.99 Okay, so confession time. I am not a fan of the Charmed franchise, best known for the television series which ran from 1998 to 2006 on The WB (before it eventually became The CW). I tried to like it but it wasn’t really my cup of tea, so to speak. My wife on the other hand, loved the TV series and every single novel that I could find that featured these witches. But as it holds such a special place in her heart, I decided to show it some love here. Without further ado, I would like to introduce you to Charmed: A Thousand Deaths #1 from Dynamite Entertainment.
