In Wonder Woman ’77 Meets The Bionic Woman #6, our heroines find themselves outmaneuvered and outmatched! But things are not as bleak as you might think. Because while CASTRA has seemingly endless troops, our mighty ladies have backup of their own. In this issue, Diana has recovered from her injury and she and Jaime race towards the great battle with the Fembots on Paradise Island. Modern technology meets sword and arrow as the two groups square off in melee combat. Armored up, our heroines literally drop into battle and take their place defending the home of the Amazons.

Release Date: March 15, 2017
Cover Price: $3.99 I don’t normally make a habit out of reviewing or spotlighting every issue in a mini-series, but with this one I cannot seem to help it. Wonder Woman ’77 Meets The Bionic Woman #3 continues to astound me and make me nostalgic for my childhood. Additionally, with March being Women’s History Month, it only seems fitting that we celebrate these iconic characters. Though, to be fair, I plan on celebrating this series each and every month regardless.

Release Date: January 25, 2017
Cover Price: $3.99 Last month I reviewed the first issue of this mini-series and found it to be everything I wanted and more and the follow up is no different. Wonder Woman ’77 Meets The Bionic Woman #2 is phenomenal from start to finish. Action packed and full of sly references to that time period and the changes that have occurred since.

Release Date: December 7, 2016
Cover Price: $3.99 This revival of iconic characters from my youth has been extraordinarily hit or miss, but in the case of Wonder Woman ’77 Meets The Bionic Woman #1, it is certainly a home run. I was always a huge fan of Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman, but only occasionally watched The Bionic Woman. Not sure if it was a schedule conflict or what; I remember liking the 1970s Lindsay Wagner show, but just not seeing it often. Now, our friends at Dynamite Entertainment have teamed up with DC Comics to bring us one of the best TV titan team-ups ever!

The Bionic Woman #10
Written by Paul Tobin
Art by Juan Antonio Ramirez
Colors by Inlight Studios
Letters by Simon Bowland
Cover by Erik Jones
Dynamite Entertainment
Release Date: July 3, 2013
Cover Price: $3.99 Sadly, The Bionic Woman #10 is the last issue of this highly underrated series. Although it was plagued by many things like lateness and low readership, quality storytelling surely wasn’t the problem. Writer Paul Tobin ends this series the same way he started it – with some good action, page-turning suspense, and a thrilling story. It’s Jamie and the Fembots versus Russia in this issue, and by the looks of these things, Russia’s chances aren’t looking too great. Once again, Tobin has taken the regular, expected story and flipped it on its ear. There’s some really great hold your breath moments in this issue, as well as some great action and a definite ending to the Fembots storyline. The book also ends with a wink and a nod, just like comic books used to end, but it never goes over the top corny either.
