| Harry Shearer Leaving ‘The Simpsons’; Voiced Ned Flanders, Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner, Many More
One of the most important voice actors on The Simpsons, Harry Shearer, is leaving the show after 26 seasons. Shearer shared the news on the Twitter last night. Shearer voices an insane amount of characters on the shows, including Ned Flanders, Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner, Smithers, Lenny, Kent Brockman, Reverend Lovejoy, Otto, and many more in the nearly 600 episodes he recorded for through to the end of the current 26th season. Only Hank Azaria and Dan Castellaneta voice more characters than Shearer. You can get a visual of idea of just how important Shearer is to the cast right here. Comical Psychosomatic Medicine, or Anime de Wakaru Shinryonaika, is a joyous romp through the world of mental disorders, from erectile dysfunction and voyeurism to panic attacks and anxiety disorder. At the Yuu Mental Clinic, psychologist Ryou Shinnai and staff nurse Asuna Kangoshi tackle a variety of mental disorders. Asuna generally plays comic foil to Dr. Shinnai’s attempts to explain the various maladies, and of course, things get out of hand with puns on terms such as “cognitive impairment” (Asuna pictures her grandfather surrounded by girls trying to get him to admit he’s the father of their children) and “rem sleep” (Asuna imagines “harem sleep” with her granddad dreaming about being surrounded by a harem of girls).

| Akira Toriyama To Oversee New ‘Dragon Ball’ Series
In 2013, Toei Animation produced Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, the first new Dragon Ball movie since 1996. In March of this year, a second film, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F was released, bringing back fan-favorite villain, Frieza to the mix. And now — following the success of their revived film franchise — Toei Animation has announced Dragon Ball Super, the first new Dragon Ball series in 18 years. The new show — which will take place during the aftermath of Goku and company’s battle with Majin Buu — will be overseen by original Dragon Ball creator, Akira Toriyama, and produced by Fuji Television.

A comedic animated Spider-Man film was first revealed after Sony’s private e-mails were leaked last year. These e-mails revealed that Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The LEGO Movie, 21 and 22 Jump Street) would be involved in a creative capacity. It would be months before an actual confirmation could be made, with the two playing coy during every interview opportunity. Sony is announcing that an Untitled Spider-Man animated film is in the works. Hit the jump for more.
