The question of the day in the sports world after Super Bowl XLIX was: Did New England win, or did Seattle lose? Well the answer is simple. The answer is neither. The winner was Liam Neeson (Or AngryNeeson52). After all, he has a very particular set of skills”¦ Liam Neeson, the once and possibly future Oscar contender from classics like Schindler’s List and Rob Roy, developed into the most unlikely and marketable action star in recent memory. Super Bowl commercials are almost more of a big marketing deal than the actual game. Amidst the countless ads involving cute animals, fast cars, and alcoholic beverages came (like Neeson) the most unlikely great advertisement of Super Sunday. In the first half of the big game, a commercial ran for the hit mobile game Clash of Clans. After being defeated by BigbuffetBoy85, Neeson — in his best Bryan Mills (his Taken series character) — threatens to unleash his particular set of skills, which in Clash of Clans include “lots of barbarians and dragons.” Neeson’s verbal threats are interrupted when a server at Little Cupcakes Bakeshop (in Bay Ridge Brooklyn!) hilariously mispronounces the actor’s name as LIE-am, in a moment any one who has ever been to Starbucks will understand. You can watch the commercial below.

| You Too Can Learn To Speak Dothraki From ‘Game Of Thrones’ This Fall |

There’s many ways to tell when something is really popular, and HBO’s Game of Thrones has achieved plenty of them. But one of the very best ways to gauge popularity is when fans are so dedicated they’re willing and wanting to put in the time and effort required to learn how to speak a fake language that was created for a TV show or movie and so on. This too is something Game of Thrones has achieved when it comes to the Dothraki language, a language that was created specifically for the show. Various online communities have been created to catalog Dothraki dialogue, vocabulary, and grammar from show scripts, and some people teach what they know of the language in YouTube videos. But come this fall, those who truly want to learn how to speak Dothraki will have the opportunity to through the release of Living Language Dothraki: A Conversational Language Course Based on the Hit Original HBO Series Game of Thrones.
