| NYCC 2013: Interview With The Cast and Crew Of SyFy’s ‘Defiance’ |

Defiance is a multi-platform science fiction venture from SyFy, presenting a shared world through a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) and a television series created by Rockne S. O’Bannon (Farscape), Kevin Murphy (Caprica), and Michael Taylor (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine). First airing in the spring of 2013 on SyFy, Defiance is set in 2046 and tells the tale of humanity’s struggle to adapt to a new world in which multiple alien races now inhabit Earth. When Joshua Nolan (Grant Bowler) and his adopted daughter Irisa (Stephanie Leonidas) settle in the town of Defiance — what used to be St. Louis — tensions between all races quickly begin to rise. At New York Comic-Con this past weekend, Bowler, Leonidas, Jaime Murray (Stahma Tarr), Julie Benz (Mayor Amanda Rosewater), and producer Michael Nankin sat down with Geeks of Doom among other media outlets and shed some light onto the new season of Defiance which will begin airing in 2014. Once all of our movie, television, and comic panels safely was behind us and New York Comic-Con 2013 coming dangerously close to a close, on the final day I was finally able carve out some time to spend on the convention floor and meet with all of the awesome exhibitors, cosplayers, and Geeks of Doom fans. I am jealous of those who went to the panel for FX’s Archer on Saturday at New York Comic-Con because they get to not only see the cast, and hear about the new season that drops in January 2014, but they also got to see this take on the music video for the 80’s classic Kenny Loggins song “Danger Zone.” [We also got free “Archer” hats! – Ed.] Fortunately, those of who didn’t attend the panel are able to bask in the glory, courtesy of Uproxx. Check out the video here below.

| NYCC 2013: MTV’s ‘Teen Wolf’ News, Footage Description & Photo Gallery
While AMC’s The Walking Dead panel might have been the biggest draw to the Main Stage auditorium on Saturday at New York Comic-Con 2013, the MTV television series Teen Wolf definitely drew the most screams from its rabid audience. Before the panel began, Teen Wolf paper wolf masks on sticks were handed out, and also some themed “Mountain Ash” candy vials. This lent some fun to the event, during which I mostly had to keep my fingers in my ears to save my eardrums from the piercing screams. The series creator wolf Jeff Davis was introduced, followed by stars Linden Ashby and Dylan O’Brien, the later of whom was met with high-pitched screams from the young females in the audience. See below for some tidbits from the panel, as well as lots of photos and description of new footage shown.
