| Watch The First Trailer For ‘The Death Of Superman Lives: What Happened?’
In January of last year Jon Schnepp, a Los Angeles-based director of the Adult Swim series Metalocalypse and The Venture Brothers as well as a contributor to the horror anthology feature The ABCs of Death, created a Kickstarter page to raise funds for a documentary he hoped to make about an aborted attempt to reboot the Superman franchise in the late 1990s. After raising the budget necessary to proceed Schnepp managed to secure interviews with several of the principal players and now The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened? is very much a reality. Schnepp has released the first trailer for the film, which you watch here below.

| Black Metal Friday: ‘Black Metal Satanica’ Full Documentary
I am in the process of transitioning all of the columns from my personal blog over to Geeks Of Doom. I already started with Thrashback Thursday, so now it’s time for Black Metal Friday. For this column, I usually spotlight a band video or, more often, an audio link, since many black metal artists shy away from making videos. For my first installment on GoD, I have decided to share with you all a fantastic and riveting documentary on Scandinavian black metal. Black Metal Satanica is a very thorough examination of the genre. For anyone interested in knowing more about the subject, this is an excellent place to start! Watch the full documentary here below.

| ‘Deepsea Challenge 3D’ Trailer: James Cameron Goes Where Few Have Gone Before
Back in 2012 we found out about Deepsea Challenge 3D, a documentary being made about director James Cameron‘s expedition to the deepest point on the planet, dubbed Challenger Deep, which is part of the Mariana Trench. Challenger Deep exists seven miles under the ocean’s surface, over a mile deeper than the height of Mt. Everest. Only two other human beings have been there, and they barely had any time to do any exploring while there. The movie follows Cameron’s quest to not only get there, but explore and document the area in high-definition and 3D. A trailer for the documentary has now been released, and can be seen below along with a video that looks at just how deep Cameron traveled.

If I was a betting man I would lay down a few of my hard-earned pennies on the likelihood that you are a Star Wars fan. Not only because you made the excellent choice to read articles on Geeks of Doom, but also because everyone loves Star Wars! And if, like me, you are still hungry to find out about even the smallest of details about the movies – or the universe – then Elstree 1976, which currently has a Kickstarter campaign, could be the film for you.
