In the 33rd collection of episodes from the cult comedy series Mystery Science Theater 3000, Joel Hodgson, Michael J. Nelson, Tom Servo, and Crow T. Robot endure unspeakable cinematic horrors. This volume includes a a low-rent gangster movie, a giant spider shindig, a film about ’50s juvenile delinquents, and a failed TV pilot about spores and spies.

Yes, like San Francisco International and Code Name: Diamondhead, Agent For H.A.R.M. was developed as a pilot to a TV series that – shockingly – didn’t get picked up. In addition to H.A.R.M., there’s Daddy-O, Earth vs. the Spider, and Teen-Age Crime Wave.

MST3K: Volume XXXIII features three episodes from the Comedy Central era and one from the Sci-Fi Channel era, two with Joel Hodgson as host and two with Mike Nelson. George Miller‘s long-overdue (as in three decades overdue) post-apocalyptic adventure sequel Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the best movies of the summer, if not the year (read Adam Frazier’s review here). After raking in over $360 million in grosses at the global box office, the relentless chase thriller starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron is coming to home video in less than two months from now.

On September 1, 2015, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Fury Road is separate 2D Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and DVD editions. DVD copies will also be included with both Blu-ray sets, and all editions will come with bonus Ultraviolent download codes.

Should have seen this one coming. In October, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will re-release the Back to the Future trilogy on Blu-ray in a box set in celebration of its 30th anniversary that will include the three films, every bonus feature from the previous Blu-ray set, and a host of new bonuses. Among them will be some new shorts starring Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown and other exclusive extras.
