Tulip’s past caught up to her via an army of henchmen that brought her to Viktor (Paul Ben-Victor). Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) finally caved and revealed to Jesse that Tulip (Ruth Negga) was missing, which set Jesse off on a crusade. Starring Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Alfie Allen
HBO
Air date: July 16, 2017 WARNING: Spoilers for HBO’s Game Of Thrones…. After waiting an excruciatingly long 13 months of waiting for the premiere of Season 7 of Game Of Thrones. And while it feel weird that “Winter Is Here” in mid-July, I think we can all agree that we’ll take it!!! So, do you all remember what happened during Season 6? I’m guessing, YES! Because what an amazing season it was (check out the rundown of the Season 6 finale). Not only was it the season that saw the resurrection of Jon Snow, but also the reveal of the bastard’s heritage — he is, in fact, as suspected, the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen. Yes, he’s a Stark-Targaryen, not the bastard son of the noble Ned Stark. There was also the reuniting of Jon Snow and Sansa Stark, which led to the satisfying Battle Of The Bastards, where Ramsay Bolton finally got what was coming to him. Season 6 also ended with the death of Cersei Lannister’s third and last child, the boy king Tommen, who killed himself after watching his wife and other subjects die in an explosion in the city. Oh, and it was Cersei who caused the explosion! While Cersei takes the crown, Daenerys Targaryen, the rightful Queen of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, allied with Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Theon and Yara Greyjoy, the Tyrells, the Martells, and of course, her three huge dragons, and more, finally sets sail to Westeros to claim the Iron Throne.

Blood Drive
Season 1 Episode 5: “The F…ing Dead”
Directed by Roel Reiné
Written by Harrison Weinfeld, Daniel Zucker
Created by James Roland
Starring Alan Ritchson, Christina Ochoa, Thomas Dominique, Marama Corlett, Colin Cunningham, Andrew Hall, Darren Kent, Renee Castle
Syfy
Air Date: Wednesday, July 12th, 2017, 10pm Just look at the title for this episode and you’ll know why I love Syfy’s latest original show, Blood Drive. This team of writers assembled by show creator James Roland are clearly making entertaining television they want to see, and they know their target audience. Last week, Grace (Christina Ochoa) and Arthur (Alan Ritchson) barely escaped Kane Hill, an asylum overrun by sugar crazed inmates. Grace’s sister wasn’t there, but they did find out that Slink (Colin Cunningham) is much more than just the psychotic connoisseur of the Blood Drive. Meanwhile, Christopher (Thomas Dominique) was tortured by Heart cyborg Aki (Marama Corlett), in scenes that felt like the mutated offspring of 50 Shades of Grey and Caligula. Check out my review of Blood Drive Episode 5 below.

Preacher
Episode 2.4 “Viktor”
Directed by Michael Slovis
Written by Craig Rosenberg
Created by Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen
Starring Dominic Cooper, Joe Gilgun, Ruth Negga, Gianna LePera, Graham McTavish, Tom Brooke, Ian Colletti, Julie Ann Emery
AMC
Air date: Monday, July 10th, 2017, 9pm Spoilers below for last night’s episode of Preacher! Last week on AMC’s Preacher, the gang hit Bourbon Street in the jazz capital of the world looking for God. Jesse (Dominic Cooper) was left alone and getting frustrated when he got a tip to check out a lounge act, a sultry blonde named Lara Featherstone (Julie Ann Emery). Her attempts to flee Jesse land her in hot water as she’s kidnapped by a crew of white-clad thugs. Jesse uses the combination of Genesis and kickass fighting skills to rescue her, though we find out later, there is more to Lara than meets the eye. The real crux of last week’s episode was Tulip (Ruth Negga) and her anxiety at being back in New Orleans. She does NOT want to be there, her past is catching up to her, and at the end she has this cathartic moment where she seems to accept any fate coming her way. That fate is a goon squad sent by tonight’s titular baddie, Viktor. Check out my review of tonight’s episode of Preacher below.
