“Long live the king.” Ever since Godzilla: King of the Monsters was confirmed, many wondered who the king of the monsters would be facing next. It turns out, it’s not just a one-on-one fight, but a battle royale. That’s because Godzilla is facing off against some of his greatest kaiju adversaries: Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. The film has been in production for a while, with Warner Bros. scheduling the long-awaited sequel for a May 2019 release. Now the wait for that first look is over. While at San Diego Comic-Con, the cast and crew were there to talk about the film, and also present a new trailer. And boy, does it set the tone. Aquaman may not have had the best introduction in Justice League, but the easily mocked character will get a chance to prove himself in his own film Aquaman. James Wan is at the helm for the latest superhero epic, which will see Jason Momoa reprising his role as Arthur Curry, a man who is both a human and an Atlantean, who must return to his undersea home to stop his half-brother, King Orm (Patrick Wilson) from going to war with the surface dwellers. The cast and Wan were over at San Diego Comic-Con to talk a little bit about Aquaman, but more importantly, give us the first trailer for the film. Prepare for plenty of jumping the shark moments. Check out the trailer below.

That headline is no joke. Season 1 of Netflix and Marvel’s Iron Fist was a huge disappointment, to say the least. However, we knew that Finn Jones would be playing the character in the long run. And The Defenders making the story about him did not help the character’s cause. But don’t expect that awful streak to continue. Netflix and Marvel revealed their first trailer for Iron Fist season 2 over at San Diego Comic-Con last night, and just watching it, that one trailer looks like an improvement over the first season. The fighting looks sharper, as opposed to very choppy. Check out how Danny Rand will protect the city and when Netflix will release season 2, below.
