As a horror fan things simply do not get better than what we were blessed with in the 1980s. Everywhere you look, there’s something great—or at least incredibly fun—to entertain you…and perhaps nudge you a tiny bit closer to insanity depending on what you’re watching.

An upcoming documentary titled In Search of Darkness dives head first into the joy and madness that is ’80s horror. It covers a massive lineup of titles which first arrived that decade, and features chats with many of the folks who were involved in making them.

A launch trailer for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was released this week ahead of the game’s launch.

From Dark Souls and Bloodborne developer FromSoftware, the game is set in 1500s Japan and follows a disgraced warrior on a quest to regain their honor.

It was announced a little while back that a sequel to Ron Howard’s 1991 firefighter drama Backdraft was on the way. But I for one didn’t catch that particular news bit. It’s something that actually sounds like a joke considering how long ago the first movie came out, but according to the calendar we’re still a few weeks from April Fools’ Day.

It’s no joke. Backdraft 2 is indeed on the way. And a trailer has been released to prove its existence, which can be found below. It’s not a completely unrelated movie just using the title to get some more attention, either. This is a direct sequel, which includes original stars William Baldwin and Donald Sutherland reprising their roles.

Trailers for Disney’s live-action adaptation of Aladdin have been relying on old familiar themes and elements from the animated original. At the same time, there needed to be some new additions to generate a new wave of fans who may have never seen the Ron Clements”Ž and “ŽJohn Musker-directed original or just may not have been around to see it.

While that may have worked for some, a brand new trailer gives us a better sense of the size and scope of the live-action remake while also bringing back some of the more memorable scenes from the 1992 film. Check it out below.

HBO has released a teaser trailer for Chernobyl, a miniseries about the 1986 nuclear disaster.
