| SDCC 2016: ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Ride To Replace Tower Of Terror At Disney
One of the best known Disney rides is about to be replaced in one location. It was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 that a new Guardians of the Galaxy ride called Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! will be setting up shop in the structure that The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is currently located in at the Disney California Adventure park. To go along with the announcement a video was also released that shares details about the new ride, which is coming in 2017, and some concept art. | Disney In Depth: Reviewing Disney Fantasy’s Musical Productions
As the Disney Fantasy nears closer to celebrating four years on the open seas, and I recently returned from setting sail on my third voyage on the magnificent vessel, I wanted to place focus on its five main musical productions in the Walt Disney Theatre. Two of the three featured musicals are exclusive to the Disney Fantasy, two honor the arrival and departure of guests, and the other is appropriately named Believe. Reviewing these five shows required having seen each of them multiple times and evaluating them in comparison to not only one another on the Disney Fantasy, but also those on Disney Cruise Line’s other ships and within the domestic theme parks. | D23 Expo 2015: Disney Announces ‘Star Wars,’ ‘Toy Story,’ ‘Avatar’ Themed Lands
Disney delivered lots of exciting news during their D23 Expo this past weekend, but their many big announcements weren’t just related to upcoming feature film releases. The company also shared some huge news regarding their theme parks. The biggest of these announcements is that a pair of massive Star Wars themed lands are on the way, promising longtime fans of the franchise and the many new fans that upcoming movies will create alike the chance to step into a galaxy far, far away. Additionally, Disney also announced a new Toy Story themed land, an Avatar expansion, and an Iron Man experience. You can learn about all of them and see some concept art that was released below.
