| Edward James Olmos Severely Raises The Bar For ‘The Plan’ & How We Can See More ‘Battlestar Galactica’ |
 |

Some reports have been making their way around the internet today that actor and director Edward James Olmos has been talking about the possibility of more Battlestar Galactica stories coming if his new prequel movie, Battlestar Galactica: The Plan does really well tomorrow on DVD (stay tuned for our review soon!). To be fair, if you’ll recall, Olmos appeared on Attack of the Show! back at the beginning of August (Read: Could Big Numbers For “˜The Plan’ Mean More “˜Battlestar Galactica’?) and made this same announcement, so it’s not really news. What is new in all of this, is how many more DVDs he is now saying need to be sold (a LOT more) in order to get more BSG and some information what stories we might be able to see exactly. While talking to Collider, Olmos upped the number that Universal Studios told him need to be sold from the original 350,000-500,000 he told Attack of the Show! to a whopping 5 Million! You could be assume that this is an overall numerical accomplishment and not just the movie’s release date numbers he first mentioned. There’s no doubt that the fans are faithful enough to pull it off, either, so we can all hope.

| Geekgasm: ‘Battlestar Galactica’ Babes Grace Cover of Maxim |
 |
Battlestar Galactica‘s Tricia Helfer has posed for PETA and bared all for Playboy. Now, Helfer is baring some more, along with her BSG co-star Grace Park, for the November issue of Maxim magazine.
The lovely ladies, both of whom made their mark playing sexy, yet deadly human-looking Cylons on the hit SCI FI Channel series, star in Battlestar Galactica: The Plan, the upcoming BSG prequel movie due out October 27, 2009 on DVD and Blu-ray . The uncensored 90-minute feature will combine previously aired scenes from the series, which ran four seasons, with new footage which will show the events of the series from the Cylons’ point of view. And as far as that Maxim cover goes — wow. As I mentioned, the DVD version of The Plan is an uncensored DVD, which I assumed meant strong language and heavy action. In the Maxim issue, which hits newstands on October 20, Helfer confirms that there will be more “explicit action” and talks about how she refuses to use a body double. “You will see a little bit of skin from me as the Six character,” Helfer said, adding that there will also be “a new character you’ll see in some very intense sex scenes.” Park goes further to say, “Yeah, there’s going to be a T & A version. Though maybe I should say T, C & A, because it’s not just girls this time”¦” Whoa!!! Check out some more photos we were sent from the Maxim photoshoot here below, along with a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot.

| Bryan Singer Talking To 20th Century Fox About Directing ‘X-Men 4’ |

Back in June, Bryan Singer did an interview where he was asked about the X-Men franchise and whether he would ever return (Read: Is Bryan Singer Itching To Do More “˜X-Men’ Adventures?). He revealed that the four hours that it takes us to watch X-Men and X2: X-Men United took six years of his life, and so he is “eternally intertwined” with the franchise and would love to return. While at the Pusan International Film Festival recently, Singer once again spoke about the possibility of retaking the helm for X-Men 4. He confirmed the previous interview statement that he would like to get back into that universe, and that he has actually been talking to 20th Century Fox about this return. Singer spoke about how he loves Hugh Jackman and the rest of the cast, and especially how much he loves the ability to tackle real-world issues through the fun of science fiction and fantasy movies such as the X-Men films.

| ‘Battlestar Galactica’ Prequel ‘The Plan’ DVD Details & New Trailer |
 |

The Plan is the new Battlestar Galactica prequel that fills us in on some of the storylines that we’ve seen, but from the other side of the fence: the Cylons’ point of view. The movie is directed by Admiral William Adama himself (Edward James Olmos) and will feature most of your favorite stars and characters. A teaser trailer for the movie was released a while back (and has since been pulled), but now you can see the new trailer for the show right here! Back in August, Olmos appeared on Attack of the Show and pleaded with the fans to make sure that they purchase the movie when it comes out on October 27, 2009, because if it sold around 350,000 to 500,000 copies in its first day of release, we would see “many plans” (Read: Could Big Numbers For “˜The Plan’ Mean More “˜Battlestar Galactica’?). No one knows what exactly this means, but one would assume there’s a lot more DVD movies like this to be made if the success keeps flowing. Click on over to check out the trailer and to read the dirty DVD details!
