| ‘The War Of The Worlds’: Trailer For BBC Miniseries Released
The BBC recently released a trailer for The War of the Worlds, a new adaptation of H. G. Wells‘ 1898 novel of the same name. This latest adaptation, written by Peter Harness, is a miniseries which will play out in three parts. It stars Eleanor Tomlinson, Rafe Spall, Freya Allan, Rupert Graves, and Robert Carlyle, with Craig Viveiros directing all three episodes. | New Promo Videos For FX Series ‘Taboo’ Starring Tom Hardy
FX has released some new promo videos for Taboo, the upcoming eight episode event series starring Tom Hardy. We saw a trailer for the miniseries back in February. Hardy plays a man who everyone thought was dead returning home to claim ownership of his father’s shipping company in the early 1800s. | Trailer For ‘Taboo’ Starring Tom Hardy and Produced By Ridley Scott
A trailer has been released for an upcoming FX and BBC One miniseries titled Taboo. It comes from Tom Hardy, who not only stars but also writes and executive produces, and Ridley Scott, who also executive produces. The miniseries is set to run eight episodes, and it’s set in the early 19th century and follows a man (played by Hardy) once believed to be dead who returns home to inherit hit father’s shipping company. Hardy wrote the miniseries based on a story he and his father Chips Hardy, who serves as a consulting producer, came up with. You can read more about Taboo and check out the trailer below.

| ‘Sherlock’ Season 3 UK Air Date Announced; #SherlockLives Hearse Rides Through London!
We learned last month that the U.S. start date for Season 3 of Sherlock would be January 19, 2014 on PBS Masterpiece, but there was still no word at that time what the UK premiere date on BBC One would be. Now, the BBC announced that Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman will return as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson for the third season on January 1, 2014 in the UK, and they had an interesting way of making the announcement – they’re driving a hearse with #SherlockLives on it through the streets of London!
