‘Beauty and The Beast’s LeFou Will Be Disney’s First Gay Character
Disney’s upcoming adaptation of Beauty and the Beast will bear some similarities to its animated counterpart, but there will also be some things that make it unique as well.

‘Beauty and The Beast’ Clip: Nobody Strokes Gaston’s Ego Like LeFou
Following last week’s debut of Emma Watson singing “Belle”, Disney has released a new clip from the upcoming Beauty And The Beast, featuring none other than Gaston (Luke Evans) and LeFou (Josh Gad). So far, the marketing team has done a great job selling us on the nostalgia, which reminds us of how great the animated film is. Of course, since this is live-action, there will be some resistance to the fact that this live-action adaptation is nothing more than a cash grab. Still, you can’t deny that the trend is a big hit for the studio.

‘Beauty and The Beast’ Clip: There Goes That Emma Watson Singing
Who could forget the opening to Beauty and the Beast, where the townsfolk of the Little Town greeted Belle with a lyrical “Bonjour?” Fast forward 26 years later (do you feel old yet?), and Disney’s live-action adaptation of the movie is just a part of the studio’s newest tradition of turning animated films into live-action ones.
While we’ve seen plenty of trailers in the past, the studio has released the film’s first clip, which features a snippet from what is presumably the opening song “Belle.” Check it out below.

Alan Menken Offers Details On New “Beauty and The Beast’ Songs
Last week, we got our first look the Disney’s live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. Based on the beloved animated Disney classic of the same name, director Bill Condon will be adding some new narrative twists in order for the film to feel more contemporary. But as exciting as that sounds, a lot of us are interested in the recordings of the original songs and the addition of several new songs written by Alan Menken and Sir Tim Rice.

Ian McKellen’s Sherlock Holmes Movie ‘Mr. Holmes’ Gets A New Trailer
A new full trailer has been released for Mr. Holmes, the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie starring Lord of the Rings and X-Men star Ian McKellen as the legendary sleuth in his later years. A teaser trailer for the movie was released back in March and can be seen right here if you missed it.
The new trailer runs about a minute longer than the teaser and looks at Holmes dealing with his fame and also the young boy who ultimately comes to help him in revisiting an unsolved mystery from his past.
