| Watch The Teaser Trailer For Sam Mendes’ New James Bond Film ‘Skyfall’Most teaser trailers are forgettable, useless, and fail to deliver an increase in anticipation. Apparently Sony didn’t get that memo, as the first trailer for Sam Mendes‘ Skyfall has arrived. You can watch it here below. Rather than give too much or too little, the teaser is on point, sending the right kinds of tones. The best part about this trailer is that we don’t even get a look at Javier Bardem, instead we see his shadowy figure engulfed in flames. So with no clue about the plot, the villain, or what the hell Skyfall is, I’d say that this was a very effective teaser trailer. And for those who haven’t been following the status of the movie, here’s the very vague plot description.

| Is ‘Bond 23’ Now ‘Carte Blanche’?
Who said investigative reporting is dead? Okay, so maybe this isn’t what one thinks of when those two words are put together, but when it comes to film reporting, this is about all we can get. Bleeding Cool has gone out of their way to report that, while it’s a rumor by definition, they believe the title of the upcoming 23rd James Bond feature is actually set to be Carte Blanche. Ranging from a Serbian paper chatting with cellist Jelena Mihailovic (who is penning the opening score for the film) who said that she would be working on the film, to the fact that the 37th Bond novel has just been released in June under the title, and finally, with reports saying that production was looking for a large train sequence (the novel follows Bond trying to stop a train from reaching its destination), it appears this may be the case.

| James Bond Is Saved; 23rd Movie Gets A Release Date From MGM With Daniel Craig Set To Return
At one point in time, things were so dire with MGM that many worried if both Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit and the next installment in the James Bond franchise — two of the biggest movies on the horizon — would ever even get made. While The Hobbit has mostly kept its head above water, back in April it was reported that the latest James Bond, currently known only as Bond 23, would be put on hold indefinitely. This also branched out to the likelihood that popular star Daniel Craig might not ever play the role again. But lately, MGM has been finding ways to figure things out, and many other studios have been coming to them to help get these anticipated movies made. Warner Brothers has stepped up big time, swallowing almost all of the Hobbit financial needs, and now MGM is confident enough to give Mr. Bond an official release date.

| Put Your Bowties & Martinis Away: ‘James Bond 23’ On Indefinite Hold
The twenty-third adventure of the well-dressed and debonair spy known the world over as James Bond has been stopped dead in its tracks. The movie — known simply as Bond 23 for now — had been moving forward with no apparent issues slowing its progress, even with studio MGM in some financial troubles. In fact, the movie was shaping up to be one of the best installments we’ve seen with Daniel Craig once again returning and Academy Award-winning American Beauty, Road to Perdition, and Revolutionary Road director Sam Mendes set to helm the film. Sadly, it appears that these financial woes have risen up to wreak havoc. In a statement made by Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, it has been announced that Bond 23 has been stopped in its tracks, put on hold, and will be kept there indefinitely until things are figured out.
