RELEASE DATE: December 3, 2019 It’s still hard to believe that Game of Thrones is over. There were times when it seemed like the next season might never arrive, and now all eight seasons have come and gone. After its premiere back in 2011, the series quickly developed a rabid fanbase and became a television juggernaut. It was, quite simply, one of the biggest series ever made. But while the show has indeed ended, HBO released Game of Thrones: The Complete Series last month so that fans can re-visit the story in its entirety whenever they wish to.

Air date: June 26, 2016 WARNING: Spoilers for HBO’s Game Of Thrones…. The Season 6 finale for Game Of Thrones aired earlier, and oh man oh man oh man. SO MUCH GOOD STUFF. I’m trying to organize my thoughts, but my head is spinning. A lot of storylines were not only revisited, but were given a satisfying conclusion. The High Sparrow awaits Cersei and Loras in the Sept for their trial, but Cersei has other plans; Walder Frey toasts to his successful alliance with the Lannisters, but perhaps his celebrating is a bit premature; Sam, Gilly, and baby Sam make it to the Citadel; Ser Davos confronts Melisandre about what happened to Shireen Baratheon; Dany finally sets sail to Westeros, but must leave something behind; Littlefinger reveals to Sansa his true desires; Olenna Tyrell considers teaming up with the Sand Snakes of Dorne against the Lannisters; it’s time for the North to remember, now that Jon Snow and Sansa Stark have reclaimed Winterfell; and Bran Stark, now the Three-Eyed Raven, takes a trip back in time to the Tower Of Joy to find out why truly happened with his Aunt Lyanna. SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!! Ok, here’s what happened on Episode 6.10 “The Winds of Winter””¦

Air date: June 19, 2016 WARNING: Spoilers for HBO’s Game Of Thrones…. On last week’s Game Of Thrones, we found out what happened to the actress Lady Crane as well as the end result of Arya’s intense internship at the House of Black and White; Jaime Lannister met the Blackfish of House Tully at Riverrun, where he also said farewell to his unlikely friend Brienne, as she returned to her Lady Sansa; Cersei chose violence when dealing with the Faith Militant, although the High Sparrow had a leg up on her when he convinced her son, the King, to ban Trial by Combat, which means she’ll have to face trial by the Seven; the Hound got his revenge on the Brotherhood members who slaughtered his people; and Meereen was under attack by the Masters. While this week’s episode, 6.9 “Battle of the Bastards,” did return to Meereen, where its queen, Daenerys, was ready to fight back, the bulk of the story centered on the title battle for Winterfell between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton.

Air date: June 5, 2016 WARNING: Spoilers for HBO’s Game Of Thrones…. Last week’s Game Of Thrones took us for the first time to Horn Hill, the ancestral home of Samwell Tarly, while Arya Stark made her final decision to not join the Faceless Men, and the Faith Militant once again won the upper hand in Kings Landing after securing the ultimate follower, the boy King Tommen Baratheon, who announced the joining of the Crown and the Faith. Also, Uncle Benjen, long presumed dead, came back as a not-quite White Walker. On this week’s episode, 6.7 “The Broken Man,” another presumed dead character has risen and brought a whole new storyline with him, while Arya’s plan to return to Westeros hits a major snag; Sansa and Jon’s attempts to gather allies against the Boltons is proving to be much more difficult than anticipated; Jaime heads the Lannister army to take back Riverrun for the Freys; and Margaery remains faithful to the High Sparrow and his teachings.
