Following in the footsteps of his father Clark (Chevy Chase), a grown-up Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) surprises his wife, Debbie (Christina Applegate), and their kids, Kevin (Steele Stebbins) and James (Skyler Gisondo), with a cross-country trek to America’s favorite family fun park: Walley World. As you might imagine, everything that can go wrong, does.
Written and directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Horrible Bosses), Vacation is the fifth theatrical installment in the National Lampoon’s Vacation series. Believe it or not, the character of Rusty Griswold has been played by six different actors: Anthony Michael Hall, Jason Lively, Johnny Galecki, Ethan Embry, Travis Greer and Ed Helms.

Official ‘Vacation’ Theatrical Trailer Released By Warner Brothers

Warner Brothers has released the full theatrical trailer for Vacation, their reboot/sequel to the hit movie series of the same name starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as Clark and Ellen Griswold, who also reprise their famous roles in cameo appearances in the new movie.
The new movie follows one of the Griswold children, Rusty (played by Ed Helms), who’s now married with children and taking his own family on a vacation back to the original movie’s destination: Walley World.

Christmas Prank: NJ Exit Sign Changed To ‘Clark Griswold’ Of ‘Vacation’

Over the Christmas holiday, a prankster changed an exit sign on New Jersey’s Garden State Parkway to the name of Chevy Chase’s character in the National Lampoon’s Vacation films, according to NBC New York.
Someone used tape to doctor up the “Clark/Westfield” highway exit sign to read “Clark Griswold,” the name of the patriarch of the vacations-gone-array comedy films, including 1989’s Christmas Vacation.

Leslie Mann Joins ‘Vacation’ Reboot As Audrey Griswold

The family is once again complete. Leslie Mann, the star of Knocked Up, This Is 40, and the recent The Other Woman, is has entered into negotiations to play Audrey Griswold in the upcoming Vacation reboot/sequel.
The movie stars Ed Helms as Rusty Griswold, who’s now grown up and taking his own family on vacation. Original franchise stars Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo will return in cameo roles as the Griswold elders.

Chris Hemsworth, Charlie Day In Talks For ‘Vacation’ Sequel

A new movie in the Vacation franchise has been in the works for a while now. The movie was delayed for a time, but is back on track and filming is set to begin next month.
The sequel/reboot is set to star Ed Helms as Rusty Griswold, the son of Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) and Ellen Griswold (Beverly D’Angelo), who’s now grown up and taking his own family on vacation. Christina Applegate will play his wife.
Now the cast looks to be growing with word that Thor and The Avengers star Chris Hemsworth and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Horrible Bosses star Charlie Day are in negotiations to join the movie.

‘Fletch’ Reboot Grabs ‘Horrible Bosses’ Star Jason Sudeikis For Chevy Chase Role

It was way back in February of 2011 that we first heard of the plans to reboot the Fletch movie franchise, which originally starred Chevy Chase in the title role. The movies are based on the series of novels written by author Gregory Mcdonald.
Now comes word that an actor has been chosen to take over the reins from Chase. According to reports, Saturday Night Live, Horrible Bosses, and We’re the Millers star Jason Sudeikis has landed the role of Fletch in the reboot, which is titled Fletch Won (the same title as Mcdonald’s 1985 sequel book).

Cast Of NBC’s ‘Community’ To Become Puppets In Upcoming Episode

Fans of the NBC comedy Community will be able to see their favorite characters as puppets in an upcoming episode of the show, which is set to air some time this spring.
In the episode, the study group goes on a wild balloon ride and end up crashing in the woods, and spending some time with a friendly mountain man. The experience has everyone feeling a bit awkward, so in order to speak about it freely, they all use puppet versions of themselves to share the tale.
