As you might imagine, everything that can go wrong, does. Written and directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Horrible Bosses), Vacation is the fifth theatrical installment in the National Lampoon’s Vacation series. Believe it or not, the character of Rusty Griswold has been played by six different actors: Anthony Michael Hall, Jason Lively, Johnny Galecki, Ethan Embry, Travis Greer and Ed Helms.

| ‘Vacation’ Trailer: “We’re The Griswolds!”Warner Bros. has just released the final red band theatrical trailer for the Vacation reboot. Ed Helms stars as an all grown up Rusty Griswold, who carries on the Griswold tradition of unnecessarily taking his family on a cross country vacation to Walley World, in order to bring his family together, just like in the first film. Christina Applegate plays his wife, Debbie. As the red band card suggests, this is a very NSFW trailer, so if you really want to see it, put some headphones on, or just wait until you get home. | Official ‘Vacation’ Theatrical Trailer Released By Warner Brothers
Warner Brothers has released the full theatrical trailer for Vacation, their reboot/sequel to the hit movie series of the same name starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as Clark and Ellen Griswold, who also reprise their famous roles in cameo appearances in the new movie. The new movie follows one of the Griswold children, Rusty (played by Ed Helms), who’s now married with children and taking his own family on a vacation back to the original movie’s destination: Walley World. | Christmas Prank: NJ Exit Sign Changed To ‘Clark Griswold’ Of ‘Vacation’Over the Christmas holiday, a prankster changed an exit sign on New Jersey’s Garden State Parkway to the name of Chevy Chase’s character in the National Lampoon’s Vacation films, according to NBC New York. Someone used tape to doctor up the “Clark/Westfield” highway exit sign to read “Clark Griswold,” the name of the patriarch of the vacations-gone-array comedy films, including 1989’s Christmas Vacation.

| Leslie Mann Joins ‘Vacation’ Reboot As Audrey Griswold
The family is once again complete. Leslie Mann, the star of Knocked Up, This Is 40, and the recent The Other Woman, is has entered into negotiations to play Audrey Griswold in the upcoming Vacation reboot/sequel. The movie stars Ed Helms as Rusty Griswold, who’s now grown up and taking his own family on vacation. Original franchise stars Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo will return in cameo roles as the Griswold elders.
