11.22.63 made its debut today on Hulu. This 8-part adaptation of the Stephen King novel of the same name (11/22/63) tells the story of Jake Epping (James Franco), a teacher who is tasked by his dying friend Al (Chris Cooper) to go through a time portal in a closet of Al’s diner, to stop JFK from being assassinated. After an understandable period of disbelief, Jake agrees to go back into the past, to change the future.

Watch The ‘11.22.63’ Trailer With James Franco!
Hulu has released another official trailer for 11.22.63, an 8-part miniseries based on the Stephen King novel (11/22/63), set to air February 15th, 2016 (appropriately so on President’s Day). Given the success of previous King-based miniseries such as The Stand and It, and that it has the people-who-rule-the-universe trifecta of J.J. Abrams, Stephen King, and James Franco, fans are in for a treat.

Hulu Adaptation Of Stephen King’s ’11/22/63′ Signs Director, New Cast
Kevin McDonald has been signed on to direct the first two episodes of the 9-episode Hulu series, 11/22/63, based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King. McDonald’s creds include The Last King of Scotland and State of Play. He will join writer Bridget Carpenter and executive producers King and J.J. Abrams.
New actors joining the cast of the show have also been announced in Chris Cooper and Cherry Jones, joining James Franco, who is already signed on to play lead Jake Epping.

Deleted ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Post-Credits Scene Reveals Possible Villain Resurrection
The mega-budget web-slingin’ sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was crammed from one end of the 35mm film frame to the other with reimagined villains like Electro (Jamie Foxx), the Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan), and the Rhino (Paul Giamatti). Sony Pictures Entertainment has made crystal clear its intentions to expand their rights to Spider-Man and the various characters in his universe into a cornucopia of spin-offs, including films based on the villains Venom and the Sinister Six.
The studio and director Marc Webb embedded clues in Amazing Spider-Man 2 hinting at the future of the main franchise and its possible side-quels, but the comic book blockbuster’s end credits sequence was originally supposed to include a scene implying that yet another of Spidey’s adversaries could make a return to terrorize the superhero and the people of New York.

Earlier this week, Sony Pictures released Part 1 of their Super Bowl ad spot for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Now, the studio has released the second part, which you can watch here below.
Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Chris Cooper, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Martin Sheen, and Colm Feore. The film opens in theaters May 2, 2014.
