| Watch The Official Trailer For ‘Marrowbone’ From The Writer Of ‘The Orphanage’
Magnet Releasing has released an official trailer for Marrowbone, a horror thriller from writer and director Sergio G. Sánchez, who previously penned the screenplays for The Orphanage and The Impossible (both helmed by the director of A Monster Calls and the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, J.A. Bayona) and is making his feature debut here. The movie follows a group of siblings who keep their mother’s death a secret in order to stay together, and take shelter in an old house they soon discover already has something residing there. Released Monday, February 22nd, 2016 Last week on 11.22.63, we were introduced to Jake Epping (James Franco), an adult education teacher who was passed on the serious task of going back in time to stop the assassination of JFK. Crazy, huh? His friend Al (Chris Cooper) went to the back for 2 minutes and returned severely aged and dying of cancer. “I need you to go in this closet, and then I’ll tell you everything.” He sees and is a believer and tries to go on the journey from 1960 to 1960, but the past tries to get him in Dallas. Jake hightails it out of there, but decides to stop in Holden, Kentucky to fix something – namely the murder of Harry Dunning’s mother, brother, and sister, and the brain damage done to him as a young boy by his father. Hulu has released another official trailer for 11.22.63, an 8-part miniseries based on the Stephen King novel (11/22/63), set to air February 15th, 2016 (appropriately so on President’s Day). Given the success of previous King-based miniseries such as The Stand and It, and that it has the people-who-rule-the-universe trifecta of J.J. | Hulu Adaptation Of Stephen King’s ’11/22/63′ Signs Director, New Cast
Kevin McDonald has been signed on to direct the first two episodes of the 9-episode Hulu series, 11/22/63, based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King. McDonald’s creds include The Last King of Scotland and State of Play. He will join writer Bridget Carpenter and executive producers King and J.J. Abrams. New actors joining the cast of the show have also been announced in Chris Cooper and Cherry Jones, joining James Franco, who is already signed on to play lead Jake Epping.
